Triyugi Narayan Temple

This is the temple where Lord Siva and Maata Parvati got married. The marriage was solemnized by Lord Maha Vishnu. The couple took 7 Pheras here as part of the wedding rituals. 7 Pheras are not just about going around a holy fire seven times, but have a deep-rooted meaning in Hindu Culture. Each Phera signifies a vow that couples have to take for eternity.

Aditi Devi generated this Agni ( “Dhananjaya” ) from the Tapas Sakti for this Havan.

There is a Sriman Narayan idol in this temple along with small idols of Maata Lakshmi and Saraswati. The sacred fire in the Havan Kund (where they took these 7 Pheras) is still kept on by constantly offering firewood to it. It has been like this for the last 3 Yugas. Hence the name of this temple and the village is called Triyugi Narayan Temple.
