Shri Satyakama Teertharu

||satparAyaNadugdhAbdheH saMjAtA kIrtikAmadA |
kAmadhenuH satyakAmanAmnI bhUyAt satAM mude ||

॥ सत्परायणदुग्धाब्धेः संजाता कीर्तिकामदा ।
कामधेनुः सत्यकामनाम्नी भूयात् सतां मुदे ॥

Sri Satyakama Teertha was pontiff of the Shri Uttaradi Matha by his predecessor Shri SatyaParayana Teertha and ruled during the period from 1863 to 1871.

His Purvasahrama Name was Shri Shrinivasacharya. After being initiated to Vedantha Samrajya , he took up the construction of Brindavana in Santebennur to his beloved guru Shri Satyaparayana Teertha and performed Mahasamaradhana. Shri Satyakama Teertha ordained Shri Narashimacharya and named him as Shri Sstyeshta Teertha to the Pontificate throne of Shri Uttaradi Matha and entered Brindavana in Atkur on 1871, Prajotpati Samvatasa Pushya Bahula Shrashti on the bank of river Krishna.
