Every day, after completing Sandhyavandanam and Gayatri japa, one must perform the worship of Vishnu, Lakshmi, and Vayu.
Worship of other deities may be done, but it is optional.
However, the daily worship of Vishnu, Lakshmi, and Vayu should never be omitted.
