Can married women continue to worship the Kula Devatha of her Parents as her Kula Devatha?

Answered By Pt Sri Pranesh Achar (Ananda Rangan)

General

The answer is the same as explained earlier. There is no difference among the forms of Bhagavān; all forms are completely non-different.

Therefore, women may continue to worship the kuladeva of their mother’s home even after marriage. If the husband’s family deity and the mother’s family deity are the same, there is no issue. Even if they are different—for example, if the husband’s family worships Lord Narasimha and the mother’s family worships Lord Venkatesha—worship of Lord Venkatesha may still be continued.

All forms of the Lord may be worshipped. There is no need for any doubt in this matter.
